Exceptional staff, very friendly, respectful, always ready to assist you. I have no complaints about food it was better than expectation. Regarding cleanliness they have work a bit more, the lobby and the restaurant was clean but the carpets on the floors I went namely 6th, 2nd and in the reception area should be replaced with new ones as they look worn out. At the restaurant they should put some posters about food wastage, I had seen people wasting food in loads, which I bought to the notice of the staff. I think it's time for the Hotel renovation. Rest my stay was very pleasant just because of the Hotel staffs. Thank you very much to all the staff and managers of Hotel Howard Johnson, Kolkata. 🙏

This was mid-tier hotel and the amenities were as to be expected for such hotel. Overall, the staff was nice, the hotel had nice decor in the lobby. I appreciated the wall paintings by local artists and happy to see that local art and business was being supported. Most importantly, the hotel promised an airport pickup and delivered well on that promise. For someone coming from abroad late at night, this was very important and I thank the hotel for providing the expected service (for a requisite fee).

Hotel was modern and clean and convenient to the airport. Evening staff not that welcoming and was reluctant to accept cash rather than card for some reason. Restaurant was clean with plenty of food on offer and big servings. The morning desk lady, Poona(?) Was very helpful and sorted our airport transfer.

The Room, staffs, cleanliness, surrounding and near to Airport all are very nice. That's why I extend my stay here until 26 of July 2023. Earlier we planned to stay here 3 days and then shift to Central Kolkata but finally we change our plan as we found all other things are excellent.

We had a packed breakfast as we had an early flight. It was ready and waiting for us when we left. No complaints at all about the food. Evening meal was really nice as well. Location of hotel is good. Close to airport and off the main road.
